It is designed to automatically disconnect the heating element when the set temperature is reached, preventing the temperature from getting too high and protecting the internal equipment and components from rust and corrosion.

The operating temperature range for the KTO 011 thermostat is -20°C to +80°C (-4°F to +176°F).

The KTO 011 thermostat has a 7K (±4K tolerance) switch temperature differential and uses a bimetallic temperature sensing material.
