Bently Nevada 330100-90-02 Proximitor Sensor
Brand: Bently Nevada
Module: 330100-90-02
Description: Proximitor Sensor
Country: USA
The Bently Proximitor Sensor is a eddy-current approach displacement sensor produced by Bentley. Its working principle is that when the coil at the top of the probe is combined with a high frequency current and is close to a conductive surface, due to the action of the coil magnetic field line, the surface of the conductive object generates eddy currents, thus reducing the inductance of the coil. This change in coil characteristics is converted into a DC voltage signal output.
The sensor can directly observe shaft or target displacement measured by various vibration, displacement, speed and time (such as phase) measurements. With a variety of end diameters and thread sizes to choose from and combine, the measurement range is as small as 200 microinches (for REBAM? Measurement), up to 1 inch (commonly used for differential expansion measurements of large steam turbines), including an 80-meter range suitable for most machine measurements.
