GE FANUC IC752PBI100 Profibus Card
Profibus is an open, standardized fieldbus network communication protocol for industrial automation, developed by the Profibus User Organization, the Open Systems Association (OSI), and Profibus International. Originally developed by Siemens, it is now promoted and standardized by Profibus International. Profibus is a serial communication protocol that can transmit data over a pair of wires or a pair of optical fibers at rates ranging from 9.6 kilobits per second (kbps) to 12 megabits per second (Mbps). It supports master/slave communication mode and can also implement multi-point communication.
Profibus card usually refers to an industrial-grade communication card with a Profibus interface, which is used to connect devices to the Profibus network to achieve data transmission and control between devices. Different Profibus cards may have different features and functions, for example, some may support different transmission rates, communication distances, interface types, etc.
