TRICON 3720 TRICONEX3720 Analog Input Tricon SIS Schneider 0-5VDC Input Overrange Protection : 150 VDC/115 VAC continuous Weight : 1.36 Kg Voltage : 0 to 5 VDC or -5 to +5 VDC1, + 6%
TRICONEX 3720 is a communication module used in the Tricon control system. The Tricon control system is a programmable and process control technology that provides high fault tolerance. it has the following features:
- The main feature is the triple modular redundancy structure (TMR) that provides three identical sub-circuits, each performing an independent degree of control. A dedicated hardware/software architecture is used for “voting” on input and output.
- The Tricon control system can tolerate harsh industrial environments.
- The Tricon control system can be installed and repaired at the module level online on-site without disturbing the field wiring.
- It supports up to 118 I/O modules (analog and digital) and optional communication modules. Communication modules can connect to Modbus hosts and dependents, or to Foxboro and Honeywell Distributed Control System (DCS), other Tricons in a peer-to-peer network, and external hosts on a TCP/IP network.
- It can support remote I/O modules located up to 12 km away from the mainframe
