TRICONEX 8120E Main Chassis frame module | Schneider.The Triconex 8120E is a main chassis for industrial automation systems. It is part of the Triconex series, which is a safety system that combines the long-proven Tricon and Trident platforms.

The Triconex 8120E is designed to accommodate three Main Processor Modules Model 3008 Main Processors (MP). These MPs are available for Tricon v9.6 and later systems. Each MP independently communicates with its I/O subsystem and executes the user-written control program. The MPs inspect designated discrete variables for state changes known as events.
